Our Approach to Narrative

“Narrative” often means different things in different fields and is frequently used interchangeably with “story.” To us, narrative is like the trunk of a tree. It draws the nutrients of values and existential concerns up from the root system, which is fed by the deeper soil of culture, and channels them into the leaves of stories and messages. When the trunk is strong and well-rooted, the stories that grow from it are many, and they carry coherence, resilience, and reach.

We help organizations examine the root values and narratives they’re operating from, and by strengthening alignment between values and voice, we help you create a healthy communications crown that can carry the seed of real change.
